Here at r3pack we take our total environmental impact seriously. We use the Toitu Carbon Assess tool to calculate our organisation/operation carbon impact. This includes fuel, electricity, travel, waste, and freight to get our products to our clients.

2021 Financial year

Our 2021 FY (year ending March 2021)Toitū carbon assessment came out as 5.27 kgCO2e/$1. While this is already low by comparitive business standards, we are working to further reduce that by: travelling less whenever possible, and reducing energy consumption in the business.  Here is a link to our carbon assessment.

We have purchased 14 tonne of carbon credits to help mitigate some of our climate impacts from Spraypoint, which is a native forest regeneration site located in Marlborough, New Zealand. The carbon forest area is under a QEII covenant, and consists of diverse range of vegetation, including a threatened species of broom. The site provides a breeding area for the New Zealand Falcon.
